    Hello sir,
I'm unable to understand a particular company request your view for the same.
Linde India ltd: Market Cap 4200 cr
    CMP : Around 500 rs.

Now I see this company is paying a very good Dividend to its share holder approx 40%. The company's sale is good at 16% for past 10 years. OPM is good at 14-15%. They have a good cash flow from there operations. It seems they are expanding which can be seen from tere fixed assets increased from 990cr in 2011 to 2500cr in 2017.

So what's exactly wrong in it that they are not paying tax. And with a sale of around 2000cr why there Net profit is just around 15-18 cr.

    Your view plz sir

    Regards
    Deep A Mukherjee

I see all the numbers you have quoted are from screener and so they have negative tax for last 3 years as -1.82 -22.90 -3.20 which can mean they have advance tax or some credit that they are getting back.

On your second question, I think the numbers in screener are self explanatory

    Sales of 2,033.06
    Expense as 1,710.94
    So operating profit is 322.12

Now you add the income and subtract the interest and depreciation and you will get that 16 Cr figure. What it is that you don't understand in this?

I mean to ask with a sales of 2000cr there profit is too small. Is it because of the high interest they are paying ?
What's your take in Investment in this company ?

I have no view on this company as the PE ratio is 173.78. Too high for me to have any views about this company.
