Is It Ok To Give PoA (Power of Attorney) To Stock Brokers?

    Giving PoA doesn't mean all your wealth is now with the stockbroker and he can kick you out from where you live. It only happens in movies or tv serials.

    A broker cannot sell or purchase on behalf of the client unless a PoA has been given to him. PoA does not mean a broker can sell and purchase at his discretion, even when there is no explicit instruction, either hard copy or online, from the client.
