Is it necessary to close brokerage accounts

    hi
    i have demat account in icici, zerodha, sharekhan, angel.. i use only zerodha and icici... is it necesaary to close rest i have mailed but they havent closed it

    It is a good practice and just emailing them isn't the process to close. If you don't close them, they may charge your account for demat charges every year and it may say as negative balance after sometime. They will then close only if you pay the charges.
